Description:
This is a backfill position.
The facility is a flagship hospital, licensed for 815 beds.

The facility serves as the region’s referral center for various critical services, including trauma care and specialized pediatric services.
It operates the busiest robotic surgery program in the region and is the only provider of open heart and interventional cardiology services in the area.

The unit has 36 beds and 40 staff members.
Staffing includes a charge nurse and several RNs and CNAs for both day and night shifts.
Patient ratios are 5:1 and 6:1, with stretches to 7:1 for night shifts.
Typical equipment used includes standard Medical-Surgical equipment and the EMR system is Cerner.
Most recruited skills include NIH and ACLS.
Neuro experience is preferred.
Typical procedures performed on the unit include Foley insertion and IV starts.
The ideal candidate will be outgoing and self-motivated.
Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.
A new staff reference book will be provided at the start of the contract.
