Job Title: Registered NurseJob Specialty: Medical-SurgicalJob Duration: Not specifiedShift: 12-hour night shiftGuaranteed Hours: 72 hours per two weeksExperience: 3 years of Medical-Surgical experience with critical thinking skillsLicense: Active state RN license requiredCertifications: Heart Saver AED Certification, BLS Certification (must be AHA)Must-Have:- 3 years of Med-Surg experience- Experience with EPIC charting- Active RN license- Current Heart Saver AED Certification- Current BLS CertificationJob Description:- Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and principles of primary nursing.- Follow departmental and hospital policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice.- Utilize equipment such as Meditech, OBIX, Pyxis Supply Stations.- Attend Meditech and OBIX training for three days, followed by unit-specific orientation.- Complete medication testing once on-site within the first two weeks.- Adhere to a nurse-to-patient ratio that follows the national standard.- Wear provided scrubs according to the dress code.
