Description:
Monitors hospital-wide quality.
Conducts daily and post-discharge reviews of potential harms and healthcare-associated conditions.
Conducts mortality reviews.
Serves as site administrator for quality-related platforms.
Fiscally responsible for accurate representation of medical severity of illness.
Impacts value-based purchasing initiatives.
Responsible for data collection and submission to regulatory agencies.
Analyzes data to recognize areas in programs for process improvement.
Exemplifies and is committed to the mission and values of the organization.
Adheres to the Code of Conduct and service excellence expectations.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
New hires or transfers are required to obtain BLS certification within 90 days of employment and ACLS certification within one year.
If currently certified, must maintain current certification according to standards.
