Travel Nurse RN – Med/Surg – $2,646 per week in Lafayette, IN

Floating is 100% required of all travelers.
Local candidates will not be accepted for this position.

Description:
The nursing position involves providing care for medical and surgical patients.
The majority of the patients will have medical issues such as COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, and chest pain.
There will also be a small caseload of post-surgical patients, including those recovering from procedures such as gastric sleeve and colectomy.
The nurse will work in a unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6.
Travelers will be required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.
Orientation for this position will be 12 hours and will not be billable.
Candidates must meet all certification requirements prior to starting.
All travelers are expected to comply with department policies and procedures.
