Travel Nurse RN – Med/Surg – $2,600 to $2,800 per week in Oneonta, NY

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry to join the Outpatient Observation unit for a night shift long-term assignment. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, monitor patients requiring telemetry, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a med/surg and telemetry setting

• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assess patient responses

• Interpret and respond to telemetry monitoring, escalating concerns as needed

• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR)

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and infection control protocols

• Participate in shift change reports and collaborate for seamless patient care transitions
