License: Permanent Ohio license or Compact state license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification required

Must-Have:
– Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in specialty prior to travel assignments
– Must work at least every other holiday

Description:
This position is for a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse.
The role involves a rotating shift schedule of days and nights.
The facility will do their best to honor the preferred shift of the traveler, but rotation may be necessary to meet operational needs.
The traveler must complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
An acceptable score on both assessments is required.
Travelers should expect to fulfill all mandatory requirements.
Nurses must submit a reference from a supervisor or manager in the specialty to qualify for submission.
The traveler will have two attempts to pass required assessments; otherwise, cancellation may occur.
Candidates are expected to follow policies related to nicotine use as applicable.
Background checks will be conducted, and open cases will not be accepted.
Shipping for badges and fingerprinting will be necessary prior to the start date, and all required modules must be completed before beginning work.
