Description:
RTO (Request Time Off) after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could result in a cancellation.
Candidate must have telemetry experience and the ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
Candidates will work on a general medical floor that sees a variety of diagnoses.
The average daily census is 29 patients on a unit with 30 beds.
This is a fast-paced unit that requires adaptability.
Orientation consists of 24 hours, including hospital orientation and daily classes in the first week.
Candidates are required to wear navy blue scrubs.
Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to starting in this specialty.
Weekend requirements include working every other weekend.
Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate may be necessary based on patient census and skill set.
Self-scheduling is available, but confirmation by the unit is required.
The target patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6.
All required certifications and licensure must be valid and in hand by the time of start.
References from supervisors or managers are required prior to starting.
Candidates must comply with a fatigue policy, not working more than five consecutive days or 60 hours in a week.
