Travel Nurse RN – Med/Surg – $2,478 per week in Winston Salem, NC

Experience: Minimum of 2 years required. First-time travelers accepted.
License: Current nursing license required.
Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS and NIH preferred.

Must-Have:
– IV start experience
– Telemetry experience

Description:
RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
Any call-offs or additional RTO in the unit could possibly lead to a cancellation.
Unit accepts contracts for 13-26 weeks.
Floating may be required as needed.
Every other weekend is required.
Patients are medical-surgical; cardiac telemetry patients are no longer accepted.
Orientation consists of 24 hours.
Scrubs should be navy and/or white.
Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to start.
Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
No RTO is allowed during the first week of the assignment due to orientation.
Candidates may float within the hospital or to an affiliate nearby.
Candidates must be comfortable floating with no restrictions or special requests.
Two manager or supervisor references from within the past 12 months are highly preferred at the time of submission.
Travel pairs are allowed but must submit for and work on different units.
Candidates must complete any pre-start modules, which vary by specialty.
Modules must be completed pre-start and annually.
Fatigue policy: Travelers cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours in a week.
