Travel Nurse RN – Med/Surg – $2,438 per week in Windsor, VT

Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)

Must-Have:
– Charge Nurse experience required
– Previous travel experience (at least 3 months) required
– BSN preferred
– Candidate must have their own vehicle

Description:
This is a Med Surg position in Acute Rehab.
Please do not upload a traveler who would like to work in conjunction with another permanent placement or travel assignment.
Please do not upload a traveler for any needs who is going to request schedule accommodations.
Requested time off must be noted and verified upon upload.
Requests after upload will not be approved.
No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted.
This is a small community without public transport.
Traveler candidates must have their own vehicle.
May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse.
Coordinates total nursing care for patients.
Participates in patient and family teaching.
Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel.
Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Nurse to patient ratio is 1 to 4/5.
Average daily patient census is 22.
There is an 8-hour non-billable orientation.
Every other weekend and holidays are required if needed.
Each call-off must be communicated to the unit supervisor at least 1.5 hours in advance.
After 3 call-offs, a traveler’s contract will be eligible for termination due to lack of attendance and at the unit’s discretion.
