Description:
This position requires an RN to work in a medical surgical unit.
The shift will involve 4×12 hour nights, from 19:00 to 07:00.
Weekend shifts are included in the rotation.
The contract length is for 13 weeks, with possible extensions.
The unit comprises 34 beds and includes telemetry capabilities.
Nurse-to-patient ratios will range from 1:5 to 1:7.
Orientation will consist of 16 hours and is non-billable.
Candidates should have experience in medical surgical nursing.
Scrubs are not provided; candidates should bring their own.
Completion of online modules is required prior to start.
Attendance expectations are strict, with only 2-3 call-offs tolerated during the contract.
Candidates must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility.
Medical exemptions are only considered for the flu vaccine.
Previous probationary actions on the license will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
