Description:
Metro float pool includes multiple facilities within a short distance.
Position requires a nurse for the nights.
Nurse-patient ratio is 1:4.
Every other weekend availability is required.
First-time travelers are accepted.
There is no on-call requirement.
Nurses will float within designated units to meet facility needs.
Specialization in medical surgical nursing is necessary.
Common diagnoses include medicine, colorectal surgery, urology surgery, plastic surgery, orthopedic reconstructions, bariatric surgery, general surgery, and orthopedic spine surgery.
Facility is a short-term acute care with 68 staffed beds.
Scrub color is navy blue.
Charting system used is EPIC.
Flu vaccine is required with medical or religious exemptions only.
Travelers must comply with RTO restrictions.
No local candidates within a specified radius are accepted.
References are required for submission.
Nurses must float within service lines as needed.
Certain experiences are preferred and references should be provided at the time of submission.
Travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper fit testing or will be expected to shave.
Additional requirements include no medical marijuana cards accepted.
