Must-Have:
PICC line management experience.
Experience with starting IVs.
Willingness to take trach and laryngectomy patients.
Willingness to learn and take patients with varying needs.
Ability to float as needed.

Description:
Position available for a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse.
The nurse will work nights, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts.
Minimum two years of nursing experience required, first-time travelers are accepted.
The nurse will be required to work every other weekend.
If a requested time off falls on a weekend, the nurse will be scheduled according to rotation.
Additional weekends may be scheduled to compensate for any time away.
The client may call off up to 36 hours within the duration of the assignment without penalties.
The nurse must be willing to take up to a 1:7 patient ratio if needed, though this is not common.
Experience with Cerner charting is preferred.
Floating to meet facility needs is required.
Only one winter holiday off may be requested.
Must have experience with PICC line management and starting IVs.
Experience with trach and laryngectomy patients is required but specific past history is not necessary.
Nurses accepted who are local and have no radius restrictions.
The facility is a Magnet and Level I trauma center.
Shifts will involve a solid color scrub requirement.
Candidates must comply with requirements regarding medical or religious exemptions for flu vaccination.
All candidates must complete necessary compliance needs in a timely manner.
