Description:
The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes.
The incumbent develops, implements, and evaluates patient plans of care.
They create an atmosphere that supports the mission to care, to heal, to educate.
As the primary caregiver, the Staff Nurse, RN provides direct patient care.
They work collaboratively with other care team members, the physician, and the patient/family.
The goal is to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
The incumbent has access to confidential patient information.
They make decisions independently and in collaboration with others.
The Staff Nurse, RN works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager.
They also work under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.
