Job Title: Staff Nurse, Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty: Registered Nurse (Med Surg Experience Required)

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Medical-Surgical

License: Current Registered Nurse license

Certifications: N/A

Must-Have: Experience working in a Medical-Surgical unit

Job Description:
– Provide professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care.
– Work collaboratively with other care team members, physicians, and patients/families to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
– Ensure confidentiality of patient information and make decisions both independently and collaboratively with others.
– Work under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.
– Be flexible to float to similar units and possibly other healthcare locations.
– Work every other weekend.
– Utilize electronic medical records, specifically EPIC.
– Provide holiday coverage as required to maintain quality patient care.
