**Shift:** Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years

**License:** For start dates 2-4 weeks out, must have appropriate license in hand. For start dates 4+ weeks out, must have started the licensing process to be submitted.

**Certifications:** BCLS

**Must-Have:** Telemetry and IV Start skills

**Job Description:**

– Candidates must be flexible with weekend requirements, working 50% of weekends during their contract.
– Travel nurses may be required to precept and/or be assigned students to shadow them while on assignment.
– Candidates must be willing to float to different levels of care, including Med-Surg, PCU, and ICU, with resources provided if needed.
– If a traveler calls in for a contracted shift, they are expected to make up the day during the pay period or have it added to the end of their contract.
– Charge nurse responsibilities may be needed based on operational needs, with provided training and resources.
– Floating is required of all travelers and may involve floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital.
– Travelers are expected to work two out of three major holidays.
– Facility will provide orientation and required modules which are non-billable.
– Travel compliance requires university accreditation by the ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation.
– Travelers must have 18 months of experience, with exceptions made depending on the unit.
– Flu vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions only.
– Background policy needs to be noted prior to submission for approval.
