Description:
Our Pulmonary Unit is a 36-bed telemetry unit focused on diagnosing and treating a wide range of patients with respiratory disorders.
Nurses in this area have a 1:6 ratio and are committed to delivering high-quality, specialized care for patients and their families suffering from various lung diseases or injuries.
This unit values collaborative relationships with departments such as respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy.
This specialty requires a foundation of knowledge in general medicine as well as expertise in respiratory skills.
Associate degree in nursing is required.
Experience required is 2 years but 18 months will be considered, with 1 year in the field of specialty.
This is a patient-facing clinical position.
The Electronic Medical Record system used is Meditech.
The required scrub color is solid navy.
Guaranteed hours are 36 per week.
