Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Candidates must float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.

Description:
This role is in a mixed acuity unit that includes medical-surgical patients with some progressive care unit level of care.
The unit specializes in oncology and stroke care.
Patient ratio is 1:5-6 for medical-surgical patients and 1:3-4 for progressive care unit patients.
The nurse will manage medications including Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin drips.
The position will involve care for unstable strokes and patients on BiPap.
The unit provides care for a diverse population, including cardiac, gastrointestinal, pulmonary, oncology, and stroke patients.
Travelers must possess strong nursing skills and related experience in similar settings.
Orientation is 12 hours and is non-billable.
