Join a leading cardiac medical-surgical stepdown unit.
The primary focus is the medical management of high-risk cardiac conditions.
Specialties include initiation and adjustment of anti-dysrhythmic medications and management of pre and post-cardiac invasive procedures.
Care for patients with acute and chronic heart failure is a key responsibility.
You will manage symptoms of advanced pulmonary hypertension.
Pre and post heart transplant care are critical components of the role.
Care of ventricular assistive devices (VADs) is required.
The unit features a 9-bed stepdown focus.
Responsibilities include high-level, frequent assessment and monitoring of patients.
Tasks involve arterial pressures, swan lines, and post TAVR procedures.
Titration of drips is a regular activity.
We require current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS for this role.
