Job Description

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Night, 3×12-Hour (18:30 – 07:00)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years experience required in a hospital setting

**License:** Valid Oklahoma or Compact License required

**Certifications:** BLS & ACLS required; NIH certification preferred

**Must-Have:** EPIC experience within the last year required.

**Job Description:**

– Provide exceptional care in a General MedSurg unit as a Med Surg RN during night shifts.
– Patient ratios typically 1:5, with the possibility of 1:6-7.
– Maintain flexibility to float within the scope to meet facility needs.
– Complete orientation requirements, including 8 hours of orientation and necessary modules pre-start.
– Commit to the facility’s attendance policy, which allows two missed shifts as warnings; three or more missed shifts may lead to cancellation.
– Perform duties related to top diagnoses and procedures including altered mental status, CHF, stroke, orthopedic and surgical patients, DKA, and infections.
– Follow all policies related to time-off, with a maximum of 5 days during the assignment and specific holiday restrictions.
– Ensure all requested time off is provided at submission, with no additional time off authorized later.
– Participate in compliance requirements quickly, including going to the lab within 48-72 hours of signing on.
– Engage positively with a Level 3 Trauma Center environment, offering care to a diverse patient population.
