Travel Nurse RN – Med/Surg – $2,053 per week in Wilmington, NC

Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Registered Nurse, with at least 1 year of Medical Surgical experience.
License: Valid Registered Nurse license required.
Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and Telemetry preferred.

Must-Have: Traveler experience is required. First-time travelers will not be accepted.

Description:
RTO (Request Time Off) after booking is not allowed.
RTO is not allowed to be worked out onsite.
Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could potentially turn into a cancellation.
Candidates will float to all medical and surgical floors.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is flexibly based on needs within the organization.
Contract staff may be required to work during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters.
Contract staff may be assigned to different units as needed during the course of their employment.
Candidates will assist in caring for patients in various medical, surgical, and telemetry settings.
Contract staff may be required to care for patients with COVID during times of increased census.
Candidates will have to complete orientation hours.
Candidates must feel comfortable floating to different units based on skill sets and patient census.
Candidates must be able to work every other weekend.
Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to starting for this specialty.
Vaccination for influenza is required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted.
Candidates are expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
No RTO is allowed during the first week of assignment due to orientation.
Candidates must have the required charting experience.
References from supervisors within the past 12 months are preferred at the time of submission.
