Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty: Medical/Surgical (MS)

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 12-hour Night Shift

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: 2 Years of Med/Surg and RN Experience; Cerner experience required

License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse

Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, & ACLS Required; BSN Highly Desired

Must-Have: Must live 100 miles away

Job Description:

– Fulfills the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
– Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner.
– Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age-appropriate care.
– Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patients’ needs.
– Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients.
– Makes initial assessments and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
– Performs initial and ongoing assessment on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
– Completes admission assessment within the established time frame according to policy and procedures.
