Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Experience: 2 years Med/Surg experience, 2 years RN experience, Cerner experience
License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the appropriate state/district
Certifications: NIHSS, BLS & ACLS
Must-Have: Must reside at least 50 miles away, BSN highly desired, Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program

Job Description:

– Fulfill the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
– Deliver care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner.
– Apply knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan to provide age-appropriate care.
– Demonstrate the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patients’ needs.
– Understand the range of treatment needed by patients.
– Make initial assessments and determine appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, evidenced by appropriate documentation.
– Perform initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, evidenced by appropriate documentation.
– Complete admission assessments within the established timeframe according to policy and procedures.
