Description:
Our Trauma Surgical Unit primarily cares for acute trauma and surgical patients.
Nurses in this unit work with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio.
We take an interdisciplinary team approach tailored to each patient’s needs.
The unit also provides care for ortho and urology patients.
Collaboration with family practice physicians, hospitalists, and surgical specialists is valued.
We provide individualized attention to all patients hospitalized for illness, surgery, or observation.
The work environment is strictly clinical.
Our facility uses Meditech for electronic medical records.
Solid Navy scrubs are the dress code.
Guaranteed hours are 36 per week.
