Candidates must be willing to float to other units. Positions are available for either 36 or 48 hours per week. Holidays are required as determined by the facility. Every other weekend is required. This unit specializes in exceptional postoperative care for surgical patients. Nurses in this area work with a 1:6 patient ratio. Training includes all aspects of postoperative care, such as pain management and mobility. We strive to create a comfortable and healing environment tailored to each patient’s needs. Team members collaborate closely with local physicians and surgeons. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in this specialty. Education and certifications are required as specified.
