Description:
Registered Nurse needed for a medical surgical unit.
Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
Experience in a travel assignment is preferred.
Nurses will conduct interviews with the staffing office.
The hospital has a strict radius rule for submissions.
Nurse-to-patient ratio typically is 1:6.
Nurse aides/CNA support is available.
Weekend work is required on a rotating basis.
Holiday coverage will rotate with permanent staff.
Common diagnoses include patients from various medical categories.
Orientation will be provided specific to the unit.
The charge nurse will be present for all units.
Additional responsibilities may include floating to other departments.
Candidates should be prepared to assist with patient care in various settings.
Electronic medical records are utilized within the facility.
Pharmacy services are available 24/7.
