Description:
The Inpatient Care Unit provides a diverse group of patients with outstanding, quality care.
The age of our patients varies from day-to-day, ranging from pediatric through geriatric.
Patients are admitted with medical, surgical, telemetry, and progressive care diagnosis.
The unit has a total of 18 patient rooms, including private, semi-private, and two rooms equipped to manage an intensive care patient while awaiting transfer to a higher level of care.
Nurse to patient ratio is 1:5-7.
The unit consists of 25 beds.
Non-billable orientation is 0 hours.
Holiday multiplier is 1.25%.
Must be willing to float to any inpatient unit within their scope of practice.
Work history, skills checklist pertinent to the position, and supervisory reference from within the past two years of employment are required.
Weekend and holiday coverage is required every other weekend/holiday.
