Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Night Shift, 12 hours

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar setting required

License: GA or Compact License

Certifications: BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have: Willingness to float across multiple campuses

Job Description:

– Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in an orthopedic surgical unit.
– Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to execute comprehensive plans of care.
– Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
– Respond promptly to changes in patients’ condition and emergency situations.
– Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
– Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
– Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery processes.
– Comply with all health and safety regulations to optimize patient safety.
– Expected to work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule.
– Ability to adapt and float between different units as required.
