Description:
Searching for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical.
The unit consists of 20 private rooms.
Patients range from young adults to geriatric patients.
Priority is given to those requiring medical-surgical level monitoring, interventions, and care.
Patient types include both medical and surgical cases, as well as neurology or neurosurgical diagnoses.
The unit is equipped with telemetry and oximetry monitoring.
Skills required include management of dysrhythmias and use of Rapid Response teams.
Experience with renal failure, blood product administration, central and peripheral line management is essential.
Familiarity with PICC line management, starting IVs, and Heparin products is necessary.
Knowledge of PCA, high-flow nasal cannula, nasal cannula, and oxygen face masks is important.
Adherence to isolation precautions and wound care, including wound vac management, is required.
Local travelers from certain counties will not be considered.
