Experience managing non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin gtts) and blood products

Description:
This is an opportunity for a Registered Nurse in a MedSurg/Tele environment.
The facility is a 174 licensed bed teaching hospital with no trauma designation.
The unit consists of 45 beds, and the patient population includes general surgeries, orthopedics, COPD, stroke, diabetes, and other general med-surg cases.
Patient ratios are approximately 1:5-6 for RNs and LPNs, and 1:8-9 for CNAs.
Support within the department includes CNAs for nursing support and patient care duties.
Charge nurses are present, generally without patient assignment, supported by a team lead.
A phlebotomy team and IV/VAT team are available for additional support.
Telemetry monitoring is centralized and available 24/7.
The EMR system used is Epic, with Alaris IV pumps and Omnicell for medication dispensing.
Nurses may be required to float to other facilities within the region and scope of practice as needed.
