– Experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone)
– Care of patients with tubes/drains
– IV start skills
– Blood product management
– Wound care and dressing changes

Description:
Registered Nurse in MedSurg/Tele setting.
Facility is licensed for 457 beds and is a Level 3 Trauma center.
It also serves as a Stroke Center of Excellence and a Chest Pain Center.
The average daily census is 51 patients.
Patient types include those with chronic diseases, CHF, mental health, addiction services requiring IV antibiotics, COPD, diabetes, wounds, and geriatric care.
Support within the department includes a Nurse Manager, Clinical Supervisors, staff RNs, CNAs, Clinical Mentors, and Rapid Response RNs.
Technological resources include EMR systems and department-specific equipment such as scales, EKG machines, and tele-medicine carts.
Floating within the region will be required based on facility needs, and there is no call requirement.
Travelers must expect to work around 75% of holidays, with approval for days off as necessary.
