Travel Nurse RN – Med/Surg – $1,894 per week in Clinton Township, MI

Job Description

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** Medical-Surgical

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 7pm to 7:30am, Every other weekend required

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum one year of experience as an RN in a hospital setting required; General Med-Surg preferred

**License:** Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing

**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

**Must-Have:** EPIC experience

**Job Description:**

– Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
– Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families.
– Effectively communicate pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team.
– Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure implementation of solutions.
– Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department.
– Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
– Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
