Description:
Travel RN position in a med-surg/oncology unit.
The unit has 30 beds and 53 staff members.
The ratio of RNs is 1:6 during both day and night shifts, depending on census.
Patient ratios are between 1:1 and 3:1, estimated but not guaranteed.
Equipment includes remote telemetry and Meditech EMR.
The typical procedures performed include cholecystectomy and appendectomy.
Candidates should have independent and confident skills and judgment.
The ideal candidate will be outgoing with a positive attitude and outstanding customer service skills.
Resources are available on the floor but may not be found within the unit.
