**Experience:** Less than 1 year; Completion of an accredited/approved school of nursing with requisite clinical hours required; Direct patient care experience preferred
**License:** Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN – Multi-state Compact
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, RN License
**Must-Have:** Ability to read, write, and speak the English language; Optimize the use of technology to support clinical care; Basic computer skills; Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; Customer service skills; Ability to function in a fast-paced environment; Excellent time management skills; Strong critical thinking skills
**Job Description:**
– Perform the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care using evidence-based practice.
– Provide relationship-based patient-centered care, adapting service delivery to reflect cultural diversity.
– Coordinate care through effective partnerships, ensuring care is individualized and patient goals are the focus.
– Document and coordinate the delivery of safe, quality patient care.
– Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration, promoting the recruitment and retention of healthcare team members.
– Engage in performance improvement initiatives, support nursing research, and uphold clinical competencies.
– Serve as a preceptor or mentor for other professional nurses and staff.
– Promote evidence-based practice and participate in value analysis processes.
– Proactively plan for patient care across the care continuum and support efficient use of resources.
– Comply with all health system policies, standards of work, and the code of conduct.
**Additional Notes:** Night shift includes every other weekend with 2 major and 2 minor holidays.
