Travel Nurse RN – Med/Surg – $1,752 per week in Orangeburg, SC

Description:
This position involves providing care in a medical/surgical and telemetry setting.
Nurses will be responsible for patient management and monitoring.
The nurse-patient ratio will be approximately 1:6-7.
Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.
On-call duty is not required.
Nurses may need to float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Approval for a block schedule can be requested prior to assignment, but it is not guaranteed.
Facility allows for one shift to be canceled every two weeks.
Travelers must complete their pre-start compliance on time to begin employment.
Candidates who have previously worked with the facility must have a separation period of one year before returning as travelers.
During hurricane season, all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams.
Travelers should confirm their assignments accordingly.
Modules are non-billable with an average of four hours spent on completion prior to start.
Orientation will last 16 hours and will not be billable.
