Description:
This travel RN position focuses on Med Surg and Neuro care.
The unit has 38 beds with a team of 55 staff members.
The day shift includes 2 charge nurses without patients and a 4-5:1 RN ratio.
The night shift has 1-2 charge nurses, also with a 4-5:1 RN ratio.
Patient ratios may run 4:1, with some shifts at 5:1 due to staffing.
Key equipment includes IV pumps, seizure monitoring, Bi-PAP, and C-PAP.
EMR utilized on the unit is Meditech.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in neuro and med-surg nursing.
They should be highly motivated, a team player, and capable of multitasking.
Great critical thinking skills and the ability to think on one’s feet are essential.
A positive, energetic, and flexible attitude is necessary, along with engagement in patient experience tactics.

Candidates with neuro experience will be prioritized.
