Description:
Travel RN for a surgical robotics specialty unit.
The unit has 24 beds and includes a team of 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, and 1-2 techs.
Patient ratios are estimated at 5:1.
Typical procedures performed include post-operative assessments and care.
Post prostatectomy care and post hysterectomy care are common.
Management of CBI and pain, including PCA and epidurals, is required.
Foley catheter maintenance is also part of the role.
The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, compassionate, and flexible.
The work environment is fast-paced.
This unit has a culture of teamwork and a low turnover rate.
There is a collaborative relationship with providers and surgeons.
