Description:
Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical/Surgical unit.
This position involves providing care to patients recovering from various surgical procedures.
Common diagnoses include orthopedic, urology, general, and bariatric surgeries.
Experience with managing sepsis, urinary tract infections, cellulitis, and hypertension is essential.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 6:1.
Charting is completed using electronic health records.
There is a call requirement and weekend shifts every other weekend.
Floating to other units may be required.
Orientation hours for this position are not applicable.
Candidates must have a current RN license and BLS certification.
