Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical care.
The shift is during the morning hours for 12 hours each day.
The nurse will be responsible for caring for patients with various diagnoses, including post-surgical conditions, sepsis, urinary tract infections, cellulitis, and hypertension.
The unit accommodates 56 beds with a nurse to patient ratio of 6:1.
Charting will be done in the Cerner system.
Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.
There are areas for float support available, including the COVID unit and telemetry unit.
No special procedures are required for this position.
