Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Specialty: Medical Surgical

Job Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day 3×12-Hour (06:45 – 19:15)

Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off one shift every two weeks

Experience: Minimum of 2 years required

License: South Carolina license or Compact license must be active prior to start

Certifications: BLS Required; ACLS preferred (American Heart Association only)

Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience, Experience with Wound Vacs, Chest Tubes, Surgical Dressings

Job Description:
– Work in a Medical Surgical unit with a patient ratio of 1:6.
– Required to work every other weekend.
– Floating within the scope to meet facility needs and possibly between units or sister facilities.
– Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November); peak months are August and September.
– Complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours, included in orientation hours, to be finished pre-start.
– Adhere to the facility’s attendance policy for travelers; contracts may be reviewed for cancellation if more than two shifts are missed in 13 weeks without medical documentation or a reasonable explanation.
– Follow guidelines for providing Request Time Off (RTO) at the time of submission.
