Job Description:

– Work in a dynamic and team-oriented medical-surgical unit
– Provide high-quality care to a variety of patients including those undergoing procedures such as TURPs, gastric bypass, joint replacement, post-hysterectomy, and gallbladder/appys
– Collaborate effectively with a charge nurse, fellow RNs, patient care techs, and unit clerks
– Maintain patient ratios of approximately 1:5, though these may vary
– Utilize a range of equipment including lifts, wheelchairs, gait belts, and EMR systems
– Enhance patient experiences and contribute to high patient satisfaction scores
– Engage in a supportive work environment where staff support is prioritized
– Access numerous dining options nearby for convenient lunch breaks
