Job Description:

– Position available in an inpatient rehab unit with 12 private rooms.
– Work alongside a team of 16 nurses and 6 patient care technicians.
– Typical night shift team includes 1 Charge Nurse, 2 Rehab RNs, and 1 Technician.
– Patient ratios typically range from 5-6 patients per nurse.
– Equipment includes walkers, wheelchairs, and Med-Surg equipment such as accucheck, blood pressure machines, bladder scanner, vein finders, IV pumps, and TF pumps.
– Use of Meditech for electronic medical records.
– Responsibilities include insertion of Foley catheters, coordination with the vascular team for PICC line placements, NGT/Dobhoff insertion, and non-complex wound care.
– Ideal candidates possess integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence; are team players; remain calm under stress; and are open to constructive feedback.

– Staff are expected to attend unit huddles and begin shifts promptly.
