Description:
This position is for a contract RN in a medical/surgical and telemetry unit.
The contract duration is for 13 weeks.
Shifts are scheduled from 07:00 to 19:00.
On-call requirements are not applicable.
Candidates must have experience in medical-surgical and neurological care.
The unit consists of 34 beds and has a staff of 54.
Patient ratios are 1:6.
Equipment includes Welch Allyn vital signs, COWs, Hoyer lift, PCA pumps, and CareView Virtual Sitter.
The EMR system used is Meditech.
Typical procedures include dialysis, gastric decompression, and wound care.
The ideal candidate should be team-oriented and self-motivated.
Scrub color is navy, and hoop nose piercings are not allowed.
A packet with unit policies and guidelines will be provided on the start date.
The unit has multiple award winners recognized for outstanding patient feedback.
