Job Description:

– Provide clinical leadership to support the mission, vision, and values of the organization through clinical services.
– Participate in planning, organizing, directing, and facilitating clinical operations to ensure regulatory compliance.
– Foster a person-centered and resident-directed culture and promote learning within the household.
– Perform professional licensed nursing assessments and evaluations for each resident.
– Coordinate resident care with other nursing staff within the household.
– Provide leadership to clinical staff on specific areas of accountability, including infection control, safety, and wound management.
– Guide the implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure safe, sanitary, and efficient nursing care practices.
– Ensure compliance with facility and government standards regarding documentation, medication administration, and resident care.
– Foster collaboration, consensus, and negotiation to solve problems within the household.
– Maintain professional relationships with physicians, medical professionals, and other departments.
– Demonstrate sensitivity to dementia care practices that promote individualized, person-centered care and well-being.
