![CDATA[A facility in Oneida, NY is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to care for residents on the Vent Unit at their Rehabilitation and Extended Care Facility. Must have NYS License. Must have 2 years experience. BLS Required. The work involves the routine care of residents in accordance with a detailed and well-defined resident care plan required as a staff level Registered Nurse and under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse (UM or Nursing Supervisor) and Physician. The RN vent nurse involves being responsible for coordinating individual resident care and performing nursing services requiring specialized judgement and skills in the care of the ventilator resident. Provides direct nursing care to residents and oversees the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the CNAs and Ward Clerks on the unit. Provides care and services to residents within the scope of license such as medication pass, treatments proficient documentation and recording resident care on the care plan, MAR and TAR. This RN must have the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action but also understands must be in constant communication with the RN (UM/Supervisor) with updates throughout the shift.]]
