Description:
This position is for a registered nurse specializing in labor and delivery.
The nurse will work night shifts, either 3 or 4 shifts per week.
The role requires a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in labor and delivery.
First-time travelers are accepted for this role.
The required certifications include BLS and NRP, with AWHONN Beginner preferred.
May float to the emergency department for obstetrics-specific care while supporting a primary RN.
Nurses must arrive 30 minutes early for orientation on the first shift.
L&D travel experience is essential, including the ability to circulate for C-section procedures.
The nurse must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Licensure and certifications must be in hand before starting.
This role requires participation in orientation, which lasts for 12 hours and is non-billable.
