Description:
Relief charge position with a requirement for LDRP RN Charge experience.
Support needed for sick calls and vacation coverage, but relief charge duties will not be frequent.
Shift is 3×12 nights from 19:00 to 07:30.
The unit cares for low to moderate risk laboring patients, antepartum patients, and postpartum patients alongside their newborns.
Triage responsibilities include utilizing two triage rooms and providing medical screening evaluations.
Circulating and recovering own C-sections from the operating room suite and private rooms is part of the role.
Candidates should be comfortable initiating neonatal resuscitation for low to moderate risk deliveries.
Skills in starting CPAP and positive pressure ventilation until further assistance can arrive are necessary.
Mandatory skills include NRP, fetal monitoring, and BLS certification.
Experience in IV starts, triage, and newborn transitions is required.
