Description:
This position is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse on a night shift schedule.
The facility has a 20-room unit.
First-time applicants are accepted.
The nurse will work every third weekend.
On-call is not required.
Floating within the hospital is required as needed.
Block scheduling is open to discussion with the manager.
Local applicants are accepted with no radius restrictions.
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
The facility provides scrubs for this role.
Charting is conducted on the Cerner system.
The facility is an acute care hospital and a Level I trauma center recognized for excellence.
The nurse will be required to work two out of three major holidays.
Flu vaccination is required, with medical or religious exemptions only.
Non-billable orientation is provided for 16 hours.
Modules are completed virtually on the first day and annually thereafter.
