Description:
Experienced RN with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Labor and Delivery or Maternity.
Labor and Delivery will be the primary role.
Must be willing to float to Maternity when needed.
Patient ratio is 1:1 or 1:2.
Will not be required to be in charge or precept.
Must be willing to float to med/surg to sit for safety sitter patients if not needed in Labor and Delivery or Obstetrics.
Must have CPR, NRP, and ACLS certifications.
Competency with fetal monitor strips is required.
This is a night role.
The unit cares for delivered patients, post-op gynecological patients, and stable antepartum.
Labor and Delivery consists of a high-risk unit with a significant number of deliveries per month.
