Travel Nurse RN – Labor/Delivery – $2,309 per week in Washington, DC

Job Description

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Labor and Delivery

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 12-hour night shift

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required

**License:** Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse

**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring

**Must-Have:**
– Must live 50 miles away

**Job Description:**

– Provide care for women during pregnancy, labor, and childbirth, along with care for newborns
– Engage in a variety of activities including admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and deliveries (vaginal and C-sections)
– Care for females from 17 weeks gestation to labor and those undergoing scheduled procedures such as C-sections, external cephalic versions, and cerclage
– Address triage issues and manage the patient population that includes pregnant women of childbearing age
– Utilize fetal monitors, Cerner, and Fetalink for documentation
– Participate as a team member in providing high-quality clinical care in a fast-paced environment
