Must-Have:
– 2 years recent RN experience in Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, OB/GYN & L&D/LDRP.
– Experience can include care for OB/GYN patients, Antepartum care, Triage care, Labor and Delivery care, and Postpartum care.

Description:
Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration and clinical treatments.
Appropriately assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, and referrals.
Evaluates learning needs of patients and/or family and provides appropriate education.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
Circulates during surgeries and assists physicians as needed.
Follows policies during the recovery and care of surgical patients.
Attends to the neonatal station in the delivery suite and assesses neonates post-delivery.
Attends fetal monitoring certification classes every two years and STABLE certification if offered.
Identifies necessary information to communicate with physicians and patients.
Candidate may be required to float to other units as needed.
